LAUNCHING NEW BSNL WINGS SERVICE

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Tezpur (BSNL) launching a new scheme on July, 25 for their customers announced by Melki Sedek Beck, GM (ITS) while addressing media persons of tezpur at a press meet at BSNL conference hall today in the presence of H.D. Kulkarni, DGM, S. Swargiary, AGM. M.S. Beck said that “BSNL is commencing NGN VOIP services pan India basis with the brand name BSNL WINGS SERVICE through NGN system. The BSNL WINGS SERVICEs will use the state of art Technology platform next Generation Network. BSNL WINGS SERVICE is a new NGN VOIP service facilitating Internet Telephony Service through Mobile/Laptop using any Internet connection.”

M.S. Beck further added that “Wings Fixed Mobile Telephony is an ‘APP’ based calling service provided by BSNL which     allows customers to initiate/ receive VOIP calls within and outside the BSNL network either from his laptop, mobile i.e., calls can be made to any landline, mobile or BSNL Wings number and LFMT (Limited FMT) numbers.”

“It uses the packet switching technology and makes communication possible over IP networks such as Internet without a SIM card. 10 digit wings number will be allotted to the customer without a SIM. For availing this scheme customer has to pay one time registration charge Rs. 1,099/-” Said.
