The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Sonitpur, conducted a review meeting today at the District Commissioner’s Office to assess disaster preparedness for 2025-26. The meeting, chaired by District Commissioner & DDMA Chairman Shri Ankur Bharali, focused on proactive strategies to minimize loss of life and property during disasters.

- Resource review with SDRF, Police, Civil Defence, NDRF, CRPF, SSB & Army
ADC cum CEO, DDMA, Sonitpur, Shri Garga Mohan Das; CDC of Naduar, Shri Raj Boruah; Circle Officers of Sonitpur district; DPO, DDMA, Sonitpur, Officials from various departments and response agencies actively participated, sharing insights and recommendations to strengthen disaster resilience in the district.
