Today marked a significant occasion for women entrepreneurs committed to strengthening and growing their businesses through knowledge and collaboration. A business development training program was conducted by Edupur Foundation Director, Mr. Amit Raj Konwar, along with Mr. Ashis Kumar Padhi, IEDS Asst. Director Gr. I/Incharge, Br. MSME-DFO, Tezpur.
The program commenced with an interactive session led by Mr. Amit Raj Konwar, who welcomed the participants and provided an overview of the training schedule, outlining what they could expect throughout their entrepreneurial journey.
Mr. Padhi then engaged with the entrepreneurs, encouraging them to share the challenges they face in managing their businesses. Participants highlighted concerns related to financial management, GST filing, and competition from other businesses. Addressing these issues, Mr. Asish emphasized the importance of customer satisfaction, stating that a satisfied customer is more likely to return and contribute to the long-term success of a business.
The session continued with Mr. Amit Raj Konwar, who focused on the importance of marketing and branding in enabling businesses to remain competitive in the current marketplace. He also encouraged all women entrepreneurs to become members of the Assam Women’s Association, highlighting the value of mutual support and collaboration in business development.
During his address, Mr. Konwar informed the participants that Edupur Foundation has developed a new AI-powered marketing tool for businesses, which is scheduled to be launched soon at a minimal fee. He also spoke about Tezpur Online, an e-public directory designed to help businesses increase their visibility and reach.
