Chitralekha Udyan

Chitralekha Udyan, also known as Cole Park, is a prominent attraction in the heart of Tezpur, Assam. Famous for its scenic beauty, the park features well-manicured gardens, tranquil water bodies, and thematic sculptures that reflect the region’s rich history and cultural heritage.

Originally established by a British Deputy Commissioner, the park is deeply tied to the history of Tezpur, a name derived from legends of bloodshed (“Tez” meaning blood and “pur” meaning town).
