Devi Singh Ghat

Devi Singh Ghat is a renowned tourist destination celebrated for its breathtaking scenic beauty along the banks of the Brahmaputra River, near the city of Tezpur. During the British era, a government employee named Devi Singh was tasked with lighting a lamp on a rock in the middle of the Brahmaputra. The ghat was later named in his honor. Known for its mesmerizing sunsets, it stands out as one of Assam’s most picturesque locations and serves as a favored spot for picnics and leisure.
