Ganesh Temple is situated north of the Brahmaputra River, where a carved stone image of Lord Ganesha can be found beside the temple. The statue, approximately 3 feet tall, is believed to date back to the 9th–10th century. The area surrounding the temple is known as Ganesh Ghat. While the original idol remains a historical relic, the current temple structure is a modern construction, adding to the spiritual ambiance of the site.
