














The second batch of the Mason’s Training Programme was successfully conducted at the Block Development Office in Dhekiajuli. The three-day training, focused on earthquake-resistant construction practices, aimed to enhance the skills of local masons by providing essential knowledge on disaster adaptable building techniques.
Experts and engineers led hands-on sessions, emphasizing best practices for constructing structures capable of withstanding tremulous activity. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including: Sanjay Rabha, Assistant Engineer, PWD(bldg), Anup Jyoti Sarma, Field Officer, Dhekiajuli Revenue Circle, Ankita Borah, Field Officer, Thelamara, Revenue Circle, Ananta Mahanta, Assistant Executive Engineer, Dhekiajuli Block Development Office, Devarshi Borah, Assistant Engineer,PWD(bldg)
Upon completing the training, participants received certificates, equipping them with the skills to implement earthquake-resistant construction techniques in their work.
