Sonitpur District Commissioner Chairs Q1 Meeting on AIDS Prevention and Control

The District Commissioner-cum-Chairperson of the District AIDS Prevention & Control Committee (DAPCC), Sonitpur, Shri Ananda Kumar Das, ACS, today chaired the committee’s first quarterly meeting for the 2026–27 financial year. The meeting was held at the Conference Hall of the DC’s Office, Sonitpur.

During the session, the committee reviewed ongoing implementation and community mobilization activities under Mission AIDS Suraksha across the district. Attendees held detailed discussions on enhancing public awareness, strengthening prevention measures, improving inter-departmental coordination, and ensuring the effective rollout of HIV/AIDS control initiatives.
