In the second phase of Gunotsav 2025, external evaluation has officially begun in 1,184 schools across the Sonitpur district, assessing the performance of over 1.35 lakh students with the help of nearly 500 external evaluators. The evaluation is scheduled to take place from January 20 to January 22, 2025.
On Day (January 20, 2025), District Commissioner Shri Ankur Bharali, ACS, participated as a special external evaluator at the Government Girls Higher Secondary and Multipurpose School, Tezpur. He engaged with more than 400 students during the lively morning assembly and interacted with them during classroom visits. Deputy Secretary of Tourism, Smt. Romy Baruah, ACS, also served as an external evaluator at the historic school, observing students’ activities and progress.
ADC (Education) Smti. Kabita Kakati Konwar accompanied the DC during his visit and further monitored the Gunotsav activities at Tezpur Chariali Girls’ High School.
