A review meeting of the Tezpur Environment Society (TES) was held today at the Conference Hall of the District Commissioner’s Office.
The meeting was chaired by Shri Ananda Kumar Das, District Commissioner of Sonitpur, and attended by Shri Arunav Borkotoky (Assistant Commissioner cum Secretary of TES), along with other key officials and society members.
Key Proposals Reviewed
To strengthen local tourism infrastructure and enhance the visitor experience, the meeting reviewed the following initiatives:
- Salary Revision: Adjusting TES employees’ salaries in accordance with the Wage Code.
- Padum Pukhuri Upgrade: Introducing speed boats for visitors.
- Agnigarh Enhancements: Developing a new 3D immersive projection facility.
- Tech Integration: Establishing an AI-based Game Zone.
Moving Forward: The District Commissioner emphasized the importance of timely implementation for these initiatives to successfully promote tourism and sustainable development across Sonitpur.
