District Commissioner Chairs Welfare Meeting with Harijan Majdoor Union

SONITPUR — District Commissioner Shri Ananda Kumar Das chaired a meeting with representatives of the All Assam Harijan Majdoor Union, Sonitpur Branch, on 3rd June, 2026. The session was held at Conference Hall–I, Office of the District Commissioner, Sonitpur.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation and coordination between the Union and the district administration while addressing key issues concerning the welfare of labourers.

Key Issues Addressed

• Employment Status: Reviewing the status of posts.
• Welfare Measures: Implementation of welfare measures for workers.
• Healthcare: Organization of regular health camps.
• Socio-Economic Well-being: Initiatives aimed at improving the well-being and socio-economic conditions of workers.
