Sonitpur DC Reviews Preparations for Assam Agriculture Minister’s Visit to Parua Litchi Garden

SONITPUR: District Commissioner Shri Ananda Kumar Das, along with the District Agriculture Officer (DAO) and other concerned officials, today visited the Paramaighuli–Parua Litchi Garden.

The visit was conducted to review ongoing arrangements ahead of the proposed visit by the Government of Assam’s Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture, Shri Pijush Hazarika, scheduled for 29th June, 2026.

Key Highlights of the Inspection:

Site Assessment: The District Commissioner personally assessed the overall preparedness at the litchi garden.
Official Directives: Shri Ananda Kumar Das directed all concerned departments to ensure that every necessary arrangement is meticulously in place.
Smooth Execution: The administration is focused on ensuring the smooth conduct of the Hon’ble Minister’s upcoming visit.
