State Level Tea Brewing competition-Brew Your Way- Succesfully executed by Tezpur Online

 

Tezpur, Assam, 21 February,2021: Tezpur Online in association with Tea Board India conducted North East India’s first State Level Tea Brewing Competition titled- “Brew your Way” in the premises of Hotel Palazzo Prime, Tezpur.

 

The event witnessed a footfall of more than 200 people where Shri Joydip Biswas- Deputy Director Promotions, Tea Board India and Smt. Amrita Bhattacharya-Assistant Director Development, Tea Board India were present as the distinguised guests.

 

The competition took place across three defined categories viz- “Milk tea”,  “Non-Milk Tea” and “Tea infused Mixology” where 34 participants from across the state took part.  Three winners from each category were awarded with Cash reward of INR 5,001/- alongwith certificate and gift hampers.

 

The event, first of its kind organised in the North East, evoked tremendous response from the participants and the guests and had been able to generate awareness and interest about Assam’s single garden origin Tea.

 

The competition was judged by Shri Parag Hatibarua – Director Eastern Tea Brokers, Guwahati,  Shri Gurinder Singh Sodi- Retd Veteran Tea Sommeliar , Tezpur and Shri Gaurav Singh- Ex Assistant Manager-Williamson Magor, Tezpur.

The moderators of the event were Manas Bora and Neetu Kakoti- Co-founders of Tezpur Online and Co-Owners of the event management company called – Atharv.
