World Environment Day celebrated in Tezpur with a slogan Moving towards a plastic free future

World Environment Day 2018:

In order to raise awareness about protecting the environment, every year June 5 is celebrated as World Environment Day as has been designated by the United Nations (UN). Catch all the buzz around the globe here. The theme for the year 2018 is “Beat Plastic Pollution”, and is a call for individuals to take charge of their surroundings and realise the severity of using plastic in daily life.
